The Westin in Copley Square is centrally located in the city with easy access to the sites. If your looking for good nightlife at your hotel, check out the Liberty Hotel. The lobby turns in to a full on party as well as having one of the best restaurants in town located on the first floor.

Check out the Freedom Trail, the North End (great Italian dining & Paul Revere's house are all located there), Boston Common (a park similar Central Park in NYC but not as big), Newbury Street (right near Copley Square and is the high end shopping district), Old North Church, Union Oyster House (said to be where the American Revolution was planned - touristy but still cool to pop in for a drink and an app).

That will certainly get you started but really just make sure to pack comfortable shoes because Boston is known to be a walking city so just get out there and explore what the city has to offer! Enjoy! about 9 years ago

Is the liberty hotel near other good nightlife places? about 9 years ago

Relatively speaking, yes. It's a little bit of walk to get in to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market which are both must sees from a tourism perspective but there are a bunch bars and clubs in Faneuil Hall as well.

The Liberty has a cab stand out front and a Red Line Subway stop directly across the street so even though it isn't as centrally located as something in Copley you will have really easy access to all parts of the city. about 9 years ago
