    That depends on where in the U.S. you want to go and what you want to do. For example, in the winter months the warm/sunny places in the South and Southwest, as well as the ski resorts in the Northeast and the West can be expensive. But if you go to those places in the off-season, it's less expensive. The off-season (less expensive) is different for different parts of the country.
