    Hi Gloria

Katrina from WorldNomads.com here. In general all WorldNomads.com travel insurance policies do not provide coverage for pre-existing medical conditions.

Any medical conditions, which you are aware of and might reasonably seek treatment for, are generally considered pre-existing medical conditions. This includes any treatment you may have had in a previous policy when you go to extend your plan. You can still take out a World Nomads policy with a pre-existing medical condition, however your claim may not be covered as a result of this condition.

Please refer to the policy wording / description of coverage for your country of permanent residence for the full details - http://www.worldnomads.com/travel-insurance/prices-and-benefits.aspx You should read the sections on Medical expenses, General Exclusions and the glossary of terms/special definitions/words you should know.

Please do contact our customer services team direct for your policy questions so we can provide personalised advice - http://worldnomads.com/members/memberscontactus.aspx
