    Fall (Oct-Dec) & spring (March & April) are the best hiking. It starts getting cool here in Dec (60's) & then by May, it can turn very warm. So it depends on what kind of weather you like. over 8 years ago

    Winter time is really the safest time here, snakes and scorpions are hibernating for the most part, although we did see a garter snake last week, it was moving pretty slow. It really depends on where you are going, we do have snow and some pretty harsh weather in March (windy) and a monsoon season in August (floods). I am in the southern AZ area. about 8 years ago
