There are so many these days. The newer pizzerias are restaurant style as opposed to true fast food joints. My favorites are... Motorino, artichoke & basil, , pulinos and rigolettos. Google their websites so you can get the addresses and hours. I recommend you ask for the pizza to be 'well done'. The pizza should have a crispy crust and bubbling cheese. over 6 years ago

famiglia's pizza is a great place. Try to avoid eating at domino's, their pizza tastes like gum. over 6 years ago

Can't remember the name of the place but the one right in Times Square - upstair. One table sort of hang out over the street and looks straight down the Square. The view is so fantastic I can't remember about the food but been there each time I've been to NY. over 6 years ago

John's Pizzeria is popular and in a great location near Broadway (260 West 44th Street). It has a unique atmosphere as well, it used to be an old church. A friend of mine goes there to load up on the house salad but their pizza is great too. The best item on the menu is the New York Style Cheesecake. Another popular pizza place is Grimaldi's pizza, but the one under the Brooklyn Bridge. over 6 years ago

I previously worked as a NY tour guide to school groups, and hands down, my favorite pizza is Lombardi's (Little Italy), which also happens to be the oldest pizzeria in Manhattan. Delicious, fresh mozzarella pizzas, but *cash only*. Second are John's Pizzeria (several locations) and Grimaldi's (under the Brooklyn Bridge, but pretty tough to get to by subway). After eating true Italian pizza in B
Napoli and deep-dish in Chicago, get ready to enjoy some of the best pizza on earth, hands down over 6 years ago
