    South side is mostly college kids. It's a good place to eat and start the night out but if you're over 30 you won't want to hang around after 11 unless you want your leg peed on by a drunk Steelers fan. Try Butler St in Lawrenceville (Round Corner Cafe, New Amsterdam) or Walnut St in Shady Side or Ellsworth St around there too. All 3 areas are safe and can be a great night. Not within walking distance of each other but not a bad cab ride. Pittsburgh has a great bar scene. (it's all we have to offer) over 9 years ago

    Anywhere BUT the South side or trendy Lawrenceville areas. Over-run with trust-funded brats. Get further out of town OR go to Casbah(wine bar) or Soba(Ellsworth Avenue) or any bar in the suburbs/just - out - of - town kind of bars... South side is frat-boy/bird-brain female 20-something non-sense ... over 9 years ago
