England and the UK has lots to offer and all interests are catered for. Obviously, London is one of the great capitals of the world and that could be another travellr Q&A in itself! To give you a flavour:

    - hike, rock-climb or paraglide in the countryside - Lake District, the Peak District and, closer to London, the New Forest
    - see a football game - tickets for the main clubs will be expensive, but try one of the lesser known teams
    - go surfing in Cornwall
    - eat fish and chips on Brighton pier for a typical seaside experience (good nightlife too)
    - walk along the South Bank in London
    - visit the historic cities such as Oxford, Edinburgh, as well as London
    - hop on the Eurostar to visit Paris and Brussels

The list is endless, but hope this is useful. More tips on my blog www.yourtravelplanner.co.uk. If you need any help organising your trip, let me know. I'd be happy to help. Have a great time! about 9 years ago
