Haven't been to Betw-sy-coed, but I've been to Conwy twice and I love it there. If you're looking for a place to stay, the Castle Bank Hotel is an adorable little bed and breakfast. Though it depends on what you want to do there -- Conwy has an awesome castle and some good places for walking and hiking, not to mention that it's an adorable little town to hang out in and while away a few afternoons. over 6 years ago

I've been to both places and would have to say betw-sy-coed would be the better place to stay. it's smaller and quieter but I think that's what's good about it. Unless you want to be next to the coast in a more happening town then Conwy would be the place to go. Hope that helps. over 6 years ago

Betws-y-Coed is lovely, stayed there once. Lots to do in terms of recreation- hiking, walking, being out in nature. But be sure to tour Conwy as well. Its a quaint lil town, not much to do at night, butThe castle is amazing . over 6 years ago
