    No other city is like london really. But the people in the Northwest are friendlier. Try Manchester and when you do make you visit Rio Ferdinand's restaurant... about 7 years ago

    There are many cities actually. I am US living here and I do love London but so much more and there is so much variety. Bath is fantastic. I love Bristol. York is very unique. Winchester is great. For nature, the Lake District is truly a place to visit. The west counties of Devon and Cornwall. Bournemouth. Isle of Wight reminds me of Carmel CA a bit. Warwick if you want a castle or Leeds castle (not to be confused withe city). It is a beautiful country and Wales and Scotland are wonderful too. about 7 years ago

    I would suggest visiting liverpool and chester. Two cities very close by with lots of history and interesting things to do about 7 years ago

    Oxford is lovely and only 1 hour from Oxford. Leeds is a great city and often overlooked. about 7 years ago

    Manchester, Leeds, York and Newcastle upon Tyne are great places to visit.

    def head up to Edinburgh, recently got a night bus which was cheap (but booked 2 weeks in advance for this)

    It's a really beatiful city, and the festival month is just about to start. also bus station backapckers is great about 7 years ago
