    as with all national carriers BA is based in it's home country, so the hub is London (or other British airports). So Lufthanasa flies to Frankfurt, KLM to Amsterdam, Air France to Paris. An American airline based in New York will fly to many destinations in Europe. If you specifically want to fly BA from NYC to Paris you'll have to go through London. over 9 years ago
