    If you buy your rail ticket more than two weeks in advance there is usually a discount, also you can purchase a young persons rail card (think you have to be under 26) you save a third off standard rail fares. The pass costs around £18, and you can pick up a form at any rail station and you don't need to be a student! almost 10 years ago

    Get the Oyester card or BritRail pass. This will greatly reduce your commuting expenses while travelling around London:) almost 7 years ago
