Unless you're planning on staying for 3 months or more you may not find much decent short-let accommodation in Central London in that price range.
Possibly your best option for a short stay is a budget hotel - a Premier Inn or Travelodge is generally clean/comfortable and can be found next to most major stations for £69/night.
If you are staying longer then have a look at http://www.nestoria.co.uk/embankment/property/rent#dyn:/embankment/property/rent/maxprice-375 about 10 years ago -
I have used this site previously to book hotels. You may find one at your price.

Hi Dr. Peter,
Yes you would definitely find cheap accommodations in London. If you search the web you will find there are many tours on offer for singles, couples and groups.
Looking on the Internet and on message boards are great places to start your search, as it would give you an idea about the rates as well. You could also use estate agents in London - http://www.plazaestates.co.uk/properties-to-rent/st-james-square-st-james-sw1/ref-txrbdr - that specialize in rentals as well as properties for sale too. almost 8 years agoAnswered by Brayden Zimmer viaTravellr.com

A flat at that cost would be hard to come buy. But there are hostels and cheap hotel accommodations that you can try. over 7 years ago

It depends what you need from the accommodation. If you just want somewhere to sleep I'd recommend the Travellodge at Waterloo. It's very basic but it's cheap and central.

It's within easy walking distance of Waterloo which is well placed for any major London attractions.
But it's a very basic hotel. There are no frills at all so it's not somewhere you'd want hang out if you decided you wanted a lazy evening in. But then why would you do that in London anyway :)
Enjoy. over 7 years agoAnswered by Claracm viaAsk a Nomad iPad app
