You have to try some Haggis while there...it may sound gross but is very tasty! I also really liked the Edinburg Dungeon, which is right in the middle of the city. A good pub is always nice to find and there are many there, espcially on the Royal Mile! Have fun! over 9 years ago
I realy like the Royal Mile, because there are many interesting spots. The Edinburgh Dungeon is realy funy and the nearby parks are great for a break plus you have a great view at the Old Town. Carlton Hill is also a nice point, with a great view ofer the city. If you like gardens then you must go to the Royal Botanic Gardens.

1- Walk up Carlton Hill, Arthur's Seat, or along the Crags for great views.
2- Wander the length of the Royal Mile from the Castle down to Holyrood House. Try a battered Mars Bar from a chip shop on your way down.
3- Visit Mary King's Close for for an interesting insight on Edinburgh's past.
4- Grab a drink at the Elephant House where JK Rowling penned most of Harry Potter.
6- Try some Haggis Neeps & Tatties, maybe at Deacon Brodies Tavern on the Royal Mile. over 9 years ago
