London is a very expensive city and very big. It depends where you stay and which facilities you are looking for almost 4 years ago

Consider staying a bit further out (zone 5 or 6) and then using the bus or tube to get around. almost 4 years ago

The only place worth staying in London is www.marlin.com
They are absolutely the best option in my opinion, their locations are super (London Bridge, St Paul's, East London) Their London Bridge one is my favourite as you can walk to The London Eye, The Thames, London Bridge, Borough Market and you really feel like a local, its an amazing experience.
We had a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms, as well as a balcony for the evenings. Their rates are very good in advance and you can even add a sofa bed in the living room to make it a cheaper option, although their 2 bedroom apartments are definitely worth a little extra. Their claim their 2 bed apartments are 3 times the size of a London hotel room!

They also have 3 bedroom apartments in their Canary Wharf location which is easy to get everywhere from there as its on the best tube line. over 2 years ago
