    We are not confident about this answer but think that the iPad is contract only. This advice is from my colleague - I didn't know what an iPad was. about 8 years ago

    Three have pay-as-you-go data plans for the iPad

    O2 also have micro SIM cards for the iPad but I'm not sure if they are available as prepaid or contract only. O2's website wouldn't let me see this information as I'm outside the UK.

    There is also the option of using a MiFi wireless broadband device (available on prepaid from most UK mobile networks) and then connecting your iPad to it via Wi-Fi. about 8 years ago

    You can get from a store called 3. Its prepay and working good for us in London and Sussex. I think you can also get from 02 and orange. about 7 years ago

    Louise - iPad is not on contract, so no problem to swap micro-sim cards in different countries... about 7 years ago
