    Imperial hotel chain is very central and under 100 pounds a night. Best way to travel around London is an Oyster card or travel card, check with London transport website since it depends on what you want to see. The travel might be better but check options for sure. Definitely do not go without some discount card as fares are high and tickets can't be bought on the bus. Good luck about 4 years ago

    Definitely get an Oyster card when you get and ride the tube. Most sights you will want to see are within walking distance of a tube station. Then you can refill the card when you need to and don't have to carry change. Where to stay depends on the area you will be arriving in and what you want to see but any of the b&b's around Victoria train station are reasonable and central. Enjoy and take broke in walking shoes! about 4 years ago

    The Z hotel is really nice, just off of victoria station! Every night there's free wine and cheese. about 4 years ago

    We stayed at Travelodge Covent Garden. It is very central. We walked to nearly everything. Underground is not far . over 3 years ago
