I would go with Aer Lingus. All around good service and no hidden fees unlike Ryan Air. Not sure about the average prices from London to anywhere in Ireland. I would just suggest booking at least a month ahead if you're trying to avoid Ryan Air. almost 5 years ago

Ryan air is rough around the edges but the price can't be beat. Every time I fly them, I say never again, but when I start looking at prices, I'm back to them. Stick with 1 carry on piece, don't bring anything else like a purse or backpack or you will be charged at some airports. Bring your own snacks and water ( after going through security) nothing is free on the flight. Don't bother paying for priority boarding as often you are loaded onto a bus to the plane with everyone else. Arrive early, if you miss your flight, they will not rebook you on another flight. Booking early will give you the best deals. In some airports the taxes will be higher than the fares, but we have flown from some airports do not have taxes which is a great deal. Good luck! almost 5 years ago
