    Before choosing you need to consider what you're going to visit. You may find something really inexpensive but it'll take an age on the tube or train or bus to get into the city. I'd suggest looking at a detailed map of London, decide on an area and then choose. I usually use hotels.com but you could try holiday-rentals.co.uk which will give rental options. almost 5 years ago

    It also depends on how many will be staying. If there are 4 or 5 of you, then a rental might work out lot cheaper. The rental will probably make you feel more like you're at home, whereas the hotel will keep you in holiday mode. almost 5 years ago
