We are looking for the best moderate week to ten day trek in Scotland, and a company to handle bookings and baggage. August 2014.
We'll either be going to or coming from five or six days at the Fringe Festival. We've spent a few days on Skye, been to Edinburgh, Grant Town, five days at Gleneagles, and a few days in the highlands. We are looking fora scenic week long trek of a moderate level and an outfit to transfer luggage and handle accommodations. I am a veteran amateur photographer and she can hike the legs off a Sherpa but me, not so much. I looked with interest at Kintyre, but after looking at someone's 15 minute slide show on U tube I confess that it seemed less interesting than I had imagined. Our passions are for unbridled beauty, great cuisine and wine (no, the wine isn't a deal breaker, as I said, we've been there and have few illusions in that regard), good company, people, novelty. If you have been there, hiked that, and read the book and own the tee shirt we would be interested in hearing from you. Thanks, Les
