    You can try Hostels International or www.gumtree.com I would recommend Paddington, Earls Court, West Kensington, Hammersmith or Fulham. To narrow it down though, if your staying for a short time than Hammersmith is the cheapest, but furthest, however it's not bad on the subway and the area is lively and has everything you need. over 5 years ago

    Hello Michelle,

    I think the Earl’s Court is the best place to stay in London. There are a handful of small B&B type hotels and even good rental apartments as well which have comfortable rooms at good prices. If you want to stay in a serviced apartment, have a look at http://www.plazaestates.co.uk/properties-to-rent-in-earls-court . This area has good public transport and getting to the landmark sights is easily done using buses and the tube. over 5 years ago

    There's lots of decent and cheap hostels in central London. I would recommend looking for hostels with 85% or higher rating on hostelbookers.com or hostelworld.com over 5 years ago
