UK experts - a friend needs to get to Peterborough train station from Cambridge on before 8am - which is best option in terms of reliability etc train or bus (and where catch from)

  its probably best just to get a train, it takes about an hour and there are plenty leaving/arriving before 8am: http://www.thetrainline.com almost 10 years ago
