Looking for accommodation in London for 3 nights from 27 December that is not too expensive. Doesn't need to be in Central London but needs to be within walking distance of a tube station. Will predominantly be sightseeing in London, West End etc if that helps with locations.

    Hello,
I do not know your budget but if you are looking for hotels then this site may help you. http://www.laterooms.com/

It is best to be within a few minutes walk of overground train stations. You can find places with 30 minute train journey to London.

If you like b+b's then have a look at this site. We used it when we first came here.

I recommend the areas of Beckingham, Bromley, Sundridge in the southeast. All are lovely areas, safe and near train stations. Depending on which place you choose to stay it can be only a 30 to 40 minute travel time into central London (Charing X or Victoria stations). Very good services in and out, even up to midnight.

Hope this helps :) eve almost 6 years ago
