I have heard the immigration process is much quicker flying into another city than London. I will be traveling from Australia. Is anyone able advise me on this please?

Where did you hear that? I think it depends on how busy are the airports on your arrival day. You'll get a quicker process if your flight doesn't arrive at the same time as other flights. over 6 years ago

I read about it in the Sydney Morning Herald a few weeks ago. they were referring to the length of the queues, as opposed to Heathrow. :) over 6 years ago

Oh, Heathrow airport had staff reduction at the time. Glasgow, Edinburgh, East Midlands Airports are quite nice airports but you might need a connecting flight from Heathrow airport to these cities. over 6 years ago

Hi Fran, thanks for your advise. We are looking at going to Scotland, so Edinburgh may be the go, and then travel down. Thanks again. :) over 6 years ago
