How long is your visit to London? Staying outside the centre might be cheaper, but you'll spend time and money travelling to attractions. Have you looked into holiday apartment rentals? That might provide enough space for everyone for the same cost or less than a hotel. almost 6 years agoAnswered by Rachel via WorldNomads.com
Agree with Rachel - look for an apartment or similar.
If you do decide to stay outside of central London, then pick somewhere which is on a good tube or direct train line. Surbiton, for example, is an excellent choice with shops, the river, easy bus and train access.

Staying out of London would not be very convenient as commuting to and fro might be a bit of a problem. At the same time yes, staying in a hotel will set you back by quite a large sum. How about exploring another alternative like renting a flat, that is reasonably priced, for the duration of your stay there. You could get in touch with professional real estate agencies like http://www.plazaestates.co.uk/properties-to-rent/residential-lettings who could assist you in finding suitable lodgings at an affordable cost. over 4 years ago
