    The best time to visit is probably August, when the weather is at its best and the water is a little warmer. I would suggest staying in the main town, St. Peter Port. The rest of the island is easy to reach from there, by car or bus, and there's a little more going on 'in town'.

    The OGH Hotel is the best hotel in town. Moore's Hotel is cheaper but still decent. about 9 years ago
