Hey I am visiting Abu Dhabi in July and believe I am there during Ramadan does anyone know if we can still get food and a few beers during our stay there at this time?

    Hi there. Ramadan is scheduled to start around 10 July for one month.

    For Abu Dhabi, what you will find is during the day all food outlets in the shopping malls will be closed. Most of the independent restaurants will be closed for eating in, but some may do delivery. In the hotels, you will be able to get food and drink, and alcohol will be available after sunset - after the call to prayer once the fast has been broken.

    You should note that eating and drinking in public places during the day is not allowed. over 5 years ago
