I know that we should be o.k. when respectful to the local culture and tradition, but my main concern involves the airport - I have booked our hotel, will they be grilling my girlfriend to check if we are married? Alternatively, if we were to approach the immigration desk separately, will we need confirmation from the hotel or anything like that? The hotel sponsored our visas, so in our visa it lists the address etc.

Any help is much appreciated!

Hi, in Dubai, the hotels are specifically exempt from the laws on co-habitation and marriage. No one will ever ask and it is customary to assume that a couple are in fact married. almost 6 years ago
