If your query is about driving from muscat to Dubai then yes it's a nice drive. The roads are good and the visa process if not cumbersome. Its a total of 4hs drive and about another half hour to clear the visa procedure at both the borders. almost 6 years ago

And if the drive is from Dubai to muscat then same answer about the time taken. The visa expenses at muscat is about aed 50 per person. Just take care to insure your car for Oman as well. If u don't have insurance for Oman, then you can always get one once you cross the Dubai border. I think it's al Ahli insurance. For a 3 days car insurance, they charge about aed 50. Cheers and have a nice drive. almost 6 years ago

Thanks a lot for your answer. I thought it could take longer than 4 hours. In googlemaps we don't get time and distances inside Oman borders. Once again thanks for you help. almost 6 years ago

Make sure you are from a country that doesn't require a UAE tourist visa before you arrive (ie Canada) in Dubai otherwise once you leave you won't be able to get back in. almost 6 years ago
