Mostlikely gonna take a peek to towns next door and black sea is in the pipe line too. I'm looking for the cheapest, safe way to get around, perhaps some suggestion for places to sleep when night fall? :).

If you planning to visit black sea after Kiev, the cheapest way - is to take a train or bus. As an example: skybus.kiev.ua/en/index.html

There are hostels starting from10 euros per night in the city center, where most of must-see places are. There are also fine and cheap local food chain called Puzata Hata - red and green borsches, varenyky, zrazy and mlynzi are must-try! :) Good luck! over 7 years ago

You must try the "Puzatta Hata" (little house with belly), Ukrainian fastfood - I love it.

Kiev has a lot to offer, such as WWII museum, local Market, Chernobyl museum. i know a local guide there, she took med for a 10 hour walk when I was there - very informational and fair Price.

Have a nice stay :-) over 6 years ago
