    Hi Jim,

Air travel to Morocco from Turkey is generally fairly safe - Morocco, while it has had its fair share of unrest and turmoil in recent months (including a terror blast in Marrakech in April this year which killed 15 people), it is considered to be somewhat removed from the chaotic turbulence of its (fairly close) neighbours, Egypt, Libya and Syria. It is still advisable to take caution while you are there and avoid getting caught up in protests, which are still in Morocco, but are nowhere near the levels of violence and unrest experienced in other North African regions.

King Mohammed VI has responded to the people's concerns by enacting constitutional reform proposals - a far cry from the bloodshed experienced in Egypt, Libya and Syria.

Many recent travellers I have encountered that have been to Morocco, especially Marrakech, say that the general feeling is peaceful and friendly. But obviously, take precautions and stay aware of any potential uprising or civil movement that could take place - keep yourself informed.
