    Food from this region is lovely and Gaziantep is especially known for its kebab and baklava.

    Mercimek corba (lentil soup)
    Cig kofte is good
    Lahmacun in this area always has garlic in, which is much better in my opinion
    Kebab - I like the one with aubergine (patlican)

    Ice cream in this area is also famous, but probably better in 'Maras - but its only a few kilometers away. I like the plain version with a side order of baklava! Delicious!
