Hey guys! Headed to a conference in Antalya, but I'm wanting to spend two or three days in Istanbul after. What is an inexpensive yet reliable form of transportation?

depending on the flights, you may chose the bus trip at night almost 7 years ago

Turkish buses are very comfortable, but this route is a very long one. Turkish flights are well-priced, by North American standards, although many times the bus cost. You only have a few days in Turkey which you'll never get back - spend the extra on the flight! :-). To save $ make sure you don't have bags that are too heavy.
If you want to enjoy something closer, go to Cappadoccia. However, it is still an overnight bus from Antalya. almost 7 years ago

İstanbul is a good choice, i advise a night trip with bus companies like varan, ulusoy or kamil koc almost 7 years ago

That's just not long enough to do justice to Istanbul, unless you are flying through there anyway. The bus trip would eat up too much of your time although I agree that the buses are wonderful. Try Capadoccia (heaven on Earth), or around to Fethiye instead. almost 7 years ago
