    The good news is that most of the resorts are about 8 hours drive from Istanbul.
    There are protests in other cities, but generally not where the tourists go. The exception seems to be Bodrum - where the protests are being held in the marina area. The resorts are about an hour away(?), so while it's not on the doorstep, if you're going to the marina district for an outing beware to stay well away from any protests.

    Has it affected other life matters in Istanbul? I'm planing a trip in aug and I want to see all the historical sights and night life and daily turkey hustle bustle as well the markets like the grand bazar etc. Will I be able to do these things? over 7 years ago
