    This depends on your plan.
Where and what places do you plan to see?
What is your budget for a night stay?

If you could write more details, I can recommend good locations and good hotels.

We liked the Hotel Artefes in Sultanahmet. 3 stars, so not too pricey, and minutes walk from the big Istanbul attractions. And an excellent breakfast. About 30 minute cab ride to airport. We'd go back. over 5 years ago

“Location, location, and Top 10 Istanbul Hotel !”

While the cab driver had some troubles finding the hotel, everything else was fantastic. The reception and concierge were always helpful and friendly. The location is phenomenal with all of the major sights within easy walking distance or if you chose not to walk, the tram station is steps away. Despite the busy-ness of Sultanhamet, it is such a nice reprieve. Breakfast is a nice assortment and the bonus is an omlette station.

Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. The shower was wonderful!

We did have a room with a small balcony that overlooked a green space but there was a bit of a smell so we didn't have the door open much.

Would definitely recommend it. over 5 years ago
