Much of the guide books and Internet sites mention areas that see the beech and town being far from each other. Ideally I would like an hotel close or on the beech which is easily accessible to the city
Thanks

Antalya has a beachfront but there is a resort, Belek, which is pretty near Antalya. The public bus service (dolmus) is excellent in turkey so location within a couple of miles should be fab. almost 6 years ago

The beach front by Antalya was unlike any beach we have ever been on. We've seen Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean, Australia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and more. The Antalya beach was all pebbles. The water looked great from afar and people were having fun but we didn't feel it was a great beach. We heard the beaches outside the city were much better, but didn't get a chance to visit them. almost 6 years ago

Just to answer the last response; most beaches in turkey are pebbley, usually with wooded areas right down to the water edge. Take beach shoes with you and enjoy. almost 6 years ago
