
we have a 6 hour layover in Istanbul. Do you think we could get a private 2 hour tour of the city?

Yes. You should have enough time to get a good intro to Sultananmet (Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Galata Bridge.....) You could just take a cab into the area and do it yourself. But I guess a guide might help you get to more attractions, given your time limit. almost 9 years ago

Yes. You can get a cab to the old sector and pretty much self-guide. You can see most of the old city sites in a couple of hours almost 9 years ago

Two hours would be a whirlwind tour but the old town is worth it. The people are friendly and helpful but you will leave wanting more! It can take 45 mins from the airport and when the traffic is bad it is horrid. Consider the time of day that you would be there. :) almost 9 years ago

You may miss the plane depending on the traffic. Be sure not to cross the bhosphour usbridges the return trip may be too crowded almost 9 years ago
