    I personally prefer not to go in the summer as it is very busy, but love April/May or September. You still have the warm days but its cooler in the evenings. over 6 years ago

    Depends on how long you are in Turkey for and how much you wish to move around, but I would certainly consider the following:

    Bodrum Peninsula
    Cappadocia/Goreme
    Ephesus
    Cirali
    Bursa
    The south coast - places like Kas, Dalyan etc. over 6 years ago

    Eskişehir is one the most modern cities and it' s a kind of student town. Close to istanbul like max 4 hours by bus or train depending on the traffic over 6 years ago
