I want to apply for a teaching post in Turkey. In my home country i am a lecturer in an international university. Can i teach in a university in Turkey too? Where should i apply?

Is there a demand for English in Turkey?

    Turkey is always looking for English (and other) teachers. There are plenty of private language schools in Istanbul, for example, or you could work for a local school/institution.

    In the UK, I know people have found jobs in Turkey via The Times newspaper - their supplement is for TES and lists lots of jobs overseas. almost 8 years ago

    It's pretty difficult to work as a UK citizen in Turkey because you can't work legally there if there's a Turkish national who can do the same job. There are plenty of Turkish people who speak and teach English there. about 7 years ago
