I'd skip Vietnam and add Laos, especially Luang Prabang, instead. over 8 years ago

Bangkok is under water now. Not advisable to visit for the moment. Go to Chiangmai instead. That's northern Thailand. In Vietnam, go to Ho Chi Minh City. Plenty to do there. Similarly, i Cambodia, you must visit Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Great places to visit. Don't forget to bring your camera. over 8 years ago

I spent an entire 4 weeks in Vietnam alone and feel like there was more left to explore. If you are going to do it, I would suggest adding in Cambodia too. That is close enough where in three weeks you can see enough of both countries and be happy. Halong Bay I think is kind of a waste in my opinion. Exploring the rice fields of Sapa is time better spent along with Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City & Hanoi! over 8 years ago

I spent a month in Vietnam too (thinking I'd only be there a few days!) so forget it if u have 3 weeks and want to see Thailand. U can go to Cambodia, seam reap is only 6 hrs. 3 days in Bangkok, 5-7 in Cambodia, same for north Thailand: Chiangmai. Chianrai pai then hit the beach. Ko phi phi- amazing! over 8 years ago

Its easy to fly from Bangkok to Cambodia and only takes an hour. We did 4 days in Bangkok, 4 days in Siem Reap, and then 6 days in Koh Phangang. over 8 years ago

    I'd take a look at
Footsteps in Asia adventure tours. They have all sorts of tours and can even tailor make a tour to suit your needs.

They have just relaunched themselves as a company, as the usually wholesale their tours to bigger companies, but now retail their tours to anyone at the same price. So, definitely worth a look! over 8 years ago
