The flooding is north of Bangkok.... all areas to the south (including Hua Hin) are free from flooding and safe.
You can catch a bus or hire a private taxi. At the top end of the scale you can hire a Merc' E class limo for 4300 THB each way. The bus is considerably cheaper. about 9 years ago

The fastest way is just get a Limo or Taxi from the airport about 3000 - 4000 baht one way. Or the cheap way is go to Victory monument and there are several regular mini buses that go to Hua Hin about 300 baht i think. They park near the big shopping center about 300 meters from the circle in the side street. Look for the signs on there windscreens. If you need a hotel in Hua Hin try http://www.ihotelthai.com for the best deals. about 9 years ago

The bus ride isn't bad, but if you're a bigger group it might be worth sharing the car for more a direct and timely trip!
Enjoy Hua Hin; it's beautiful!!! But watch out for rocks in the water... I still have a scar. :) about 9 years ago
