    Bus is the cheapest. Taxi is not very expensive either. It's a mere 3 hours drive on a 6 lane super-highway. over 6 years ago

    Take a Taxi real cheap set the price obviously, you can go right from the airport or any other place in Bangkok and takes about 1.5 hours. Bus travel is cheaper but takes a lot lot longer to get where you are going. Taxi rates about USD40 for a one way trip. If you have a few people in your group you split the fare anyway so the taxi cost per person could be cheaper than the bus fare ! if you need a Thai hotel i get good deals here http://www.ihotelthai.com over 6 years ago

    Bus from Ekamai is cheap, about 150B. Once in Pattaya catch local bus to get to hotel. 30-40B I believe over 6 years ago

    dont go to pattaya is best idea ,unless you going for one reason , the beach is crap. full of swaggering, obese, German middle age men with the youngest looking legal girls they can find ,ok if you like full on sleaze , .but Better to go to Hau Hin or the islands , over 6 years ago
