You'll love Phuket. Go snorkeling in Kata and sun bath, there's also snake farm somewhere in Chalong. Visit Cape Promthep for beautiful sceneries. Visit street dogs at Soi Dog foundation or go watch MMA fight at Tiger Muay Thai :) over 9 years ago

Hello Lasse, the old Phuket Town is great to walk around and take photos. Lots of small streets, small restaurants and old Sino-Portuguese architecture to discover. If you are looking for a quiet beach try Nai Thong Beach and Nai Yang Beach North of Phuket, between Bangtao and the airport. I recommend having your own transportation to discover Phuket. Rent at the airport or in Phuket town to get better rates.

First off, I think you should not go to Phuket, but that's another story. I can recommend Phuket Fantasea theme park and the traditional show they feature there every night. It's all kind of kitschy, but quite fun. over 9 years ago

John Gray sea canoe is not to be missed. It is about $150 and for that you get hotel pick up, lunch, dinner, and coffee, and an unforgettable adventure! Sea kayak through the caves in the limestone islands to see secluded lagoons contained within. Truly spectacular! over 9 years ago

In Phuket, I'd take local day tour to different outbound islands...cuz those tour company will provide pick-up/drop-off service and basic seafood buffet lunch (depends the tour). For those tours, you may do snorkeling, swimming, sight-seeing, fish-feeding, and other activities. over 9 years ago

Skip the tours and catch a ferry straight to Phi Phi island. Avoid Patong. Similian islands great! over 9 years ago
