This is a site one of our agents uses every time he visits Phuket.. They have a small section on Visa runs here:

Hopefully that helps.. I personally have never been so I cannot offer much more information than that. over 11 years ago -
Cheers for that. And in case anyone else needs info. The company I used was called Phuket Business & Legal who did the trip in a 9 seat "VIP" air-conditioned minibus. It was actually not too bad. The trip cost 1500 Thb and included everything from water and a few snacks on the bus to a stop at a Thai roadside restaurant in Ranong, the $10 US at the border crossing and the boat across to Myanmar. It also had a DVD and TV on board. It took from 6am to about 6.30pm
Don't expect to make too many friends on the trip though. My bus was like riding along on a day trip with Norman Bates, Gary Glitter and Fred West.... I'm sure some of them had family members locked up in their basements by the looks of them! over 11 years ago -
For visa run from Phuket, jump on the local bus or shuttle and head south to the Malaysia border. Within a day, or so depending on the bus, you're back with another 3 months :) almost 11 years ago
