I know ( and I´ve been there) the great Chatuchak Market in Bangkok on weekends. But how about on weekdays? Is it open? Should I advice someone to go if this person only have week days to spend in Bangkok? Thanks a lot

It is only on at weekends. But there are static stalls and I wonder if they're open during the week. We were there last Sunday and it seemed to us that these stalls closed at around 6:00pm and the temporary market stalls started setting up. P'raps someone else knows. Pretty confusing tho. Patpong market (silom station) I think is open nightly (be aware that its in the red light area and theres scammers trying to get you into the strip/gogo dancing clubs) but we thought the Chinese area in Bangkok was great, good bargains depending what you want. over 5 years ago

The JJ market has different days for specialty vendors from out of town who come and seller products for wholesale during the weekdays. Wednesday is for gardening plants, soil, grass sod rolls. Another day has pets, fish aquariums, dogs, cats, birds. Another day has ceramics, plates, bowls... over 5 years ago
