There is a beautiful restaurant and bar on the terrace of a very tall building with the best view of the city. It is a must! I'm sorry I don't remember the name but it's well known so if you ask around you should find it... over 8 years ago

the grand palace, Wat po, khao?? san road - not sure how you spell it, touristy but worth a look - well like everything really, the floating markets and river kwai theres lots of tours who take you to both the markets and river kwai plus the jeath war museum for about £50, including a little boat ride.
that bar mentioned above is i think the sky bar in the lebua State Tower and it is located in the Silom Area. its a fantastic view so dont forget your camera. but it is very expensive, and dress a little smart - dress/ nice shirt and trousers.
also take a tuk tuk they are really fun, theres a good market too but i cant remember where it was near a river but it was huge!! and dont forget to take a thai massage sooo goood!!
hope this helps a little, i was there for 3 days and packed everything ive said above in so its possible!! and i stayed in the Viengtai Hotel not the cheapest but very pleasant and central. and helpful staff. over 8 years agoAnswered by Laura viaWorldNomads.com
