Home in on the SiLom district and branch out from there. It's a vibrant part of the city that will cater for all tastes. I stayed in a packers hostel in the back streets and it was great. I always felt safe there. almost 6 years ago

Look where you would like to visit - taxis are abundant and so is the overhead rail - me, in the area around Silom BUT look where you want to visit, because it can be more convenient. almost 6 years ago

I'm suggesting Silom Road Area but choose hotels closer to Lumpini Park in order to use the BTS Skytrain and to be near big road and not too far from Main Train Station if you plan to visit Ayutthaya or some areas outside Bangkok. almost 6 years ago
