One must do is the Chao Praya River Express which is a regular boat service up and down the river. Sort of a bus on the water and you get to see a lot of sights along the river. A day pass costs about $5 and avoid morning and late afternoon as it gets real crowded. If you need a Thai hotel i get great deals here http://www.ihotelthai.com over 7 years ago

Really enjoyed the forensic museum. It was a bit gruesome but sooooo interesting. Costs only about 50 baht and is a great place. It had a very small reference to it in the lonely planet guide, but if you google it, it is not too hard to find and it is near one of the river boat docks. over 7 years ago
