Bngkok next week

almost 7 years ago about Bangkok, Thailand

I'm planning a trip to bangkok and am wondering if its a good idea. Some people are saying that although the flood waters have receeded, there's a risk of disease and bad hygiene due to the trapped waters. Can anyone who's been there recently share some thoughts please?

I came back from Bangkok today, everything, a least in the tourist zones , was fine. All I saw were sandbags along the river, but no flood. The city was full of tourists, no need to worry. almost 7 years ago
