    There are Mpingo Trees in Moshi which is the base town for Mount Kilimanjaro - south of Arusha in Tanzania.

    There is actually a Mpingo tree conservation project looking out for the conservation of the species. Check out their website:http://www.mpingoconservation.org/tm98.html over 8 years ago

    The best stocks of mpingo are to be found in the south-east, in Lindi Region. This is the main area for mpingo harvesting in the country, and where most previous research has concentrated. over 7 years ago
