What are car rental prices like in Sweden?

I would like to keep my options open. From what I have read the cost of trains is fairly expensive in Sweden and I would like to know what are the prices I would face for 2 weeks worth of car rental.

  With Avis being not the most expensive one, you can expect at least SEK 4 923,00 (500€).
  The trains are quite expensive, but if booked far in advance the prices do not have to be so horrible (try checking sj.se) As a student you can get a nice discount... Also as a student you can get a nice last minute discount. After you get a swedish tax number you can log in to tradera.se and there you can get a train tickets from an open auction as cheap as 1SEK. over 10 years ago
